Not for Kids: The rousing production of The Full Monty continues thru July 9 at Bangor’s Penobscot Theater on Main Street. A Yankified version of an original Brit film, the play features the antics of six out-of-work steel workers who decide that taking it all off might be the ticket back into the milieu of money and respect. For Everyone: Bangor is the place to be this 4th of July. The big day begins with a Pancake Breakfast at the Brewer Auditorium from 7 to 10 a.m., where the whole family can fuel up for the Parade, which steps off from Acme Road in Brewer at 11 a.m. The huge parade marches across the Joshua Chamberlain Bridge into Bangor, and then meanders down Main, State and Exchange Street. Music on the Bangor Waterfront commences at 2 pm and lasts right up ’til the Fireworks shoot-off at 9:30 pm. This full day of family fun is an annual tradition, sponsored and organized by local Kiwanis Clubs. Don’t Miss it!
